Afari means an African journey. Our goal is to offer you an authentic adventurous safari. Travel with us and we will take you along the elephant trail and under the skin of places, in whatever style, with whatever budget you choose to travel. Afari makes it happen.

INDEPENDENT TRAVELLERS
Traveling alone? You’re welcome at Afari Adventures! About half of our clients book our tours as individuals. We will therefore organize for you to share a tent. But should you end up having a tent to yourself, we won’t charge you extra, to keep your tour as affordable as possible. The same applies to the accommodated tours; we will only charge a single supplement if you insist on having a single room.

Afari adventures is a young travel company, with a big history. The experience comes from founder Playtorn Musiwa, who currently lives in The Netherlands but has his roots in Africa. This is his dream and, … well let him tell you himself:
‘After working for over 20 years for some big reputable safari and overland operators as a guide/cook and a tour leader, I decided to start Afari Adventures. Passionate about our wildlife, landscape and rich cultural lifestyle, I have chosen to share my devotion with all kinds of international travelers. Being an African guide living in Europe, and understanding both cultures, I’d like to think that I know what people expect on their holiday. With this in mind I work with a handful of qualified local guides who are capable of conducting game drives, walking safaris, cook and drive. They each speak at least 6 African languages, and English, Dutch and German. Together we are committed to sharing our passion for our culture and lifestyle and making your adventure our expertise. Going down the traditional route of African folklore or storytelling under the African skies and campfires, we want you to discover Africa up close and personal.
